takes great pride in our health care team, Our goal is to make every visit prompt, professional,
While raising 3 young children, Susan attended medical school and graduated from Des Moines
University. She attended her pediatric internship at Eastern
Carolina University in North Carolina, then her residency training at Arnold Palmer Women & Children’s
Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Susan has been practicing pediatric medicine in the Midwest
since graduating residency in 2004. During the past 4 years, she has also been moonlighting as a pediatric
hospitalist, and in a pediatric emergency department.
She enjoys providing care to children of all
ages. Interests include caring for all children, regardless of
their state of health, and the nutrition and development from birth through

After serving 15 years as a Navy Hospital Corpsman,
David went to medical school at the American University of the Caribbean and completed his final 2 years of
clinical graduate training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
After medical school, he completed 3 years of Family
Medicine Residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in
Youngstown, Ohio. David has been practicing family medicine in the
Midwest since graduating residency in 2003. He will provide services
including health maintenance for women, men, children, and medical care for all ages, from newborns to the
adolescent medicine, skin procedures including biopsies and cryotherapy, and joint injections for arthritis or
other musculoskeletal conditions.
Christina Feola, ARNP
Christina was born in Hartford, Connecticut but was raised in Florida for most of her life. She attended dual
credit college courses during her senior year in high school and began college classes the same day she graduated
in 2005. In 2010, Christina graduated with her Bachelor's in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University. She then
began her career as a nurse on the surgical trauma unit at Lee Memorial Hospital.
In 2012, Christina was accepted in the Masters of Nursing program at the University of South Florida and she
graduated with honors in May of 2014. In the fall of 2014, Christina became a board certified Nurse
Practitioner. Her specialty is in Family Health. Interests include health prevention, health promotion, and health
maintenance for all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
Seeing your Physician
When you become a patient at Flagel Pediatric & Family Physicians, adults will primarily be
patients of Dr. Dave and children will primarily be patients of Dr. Susan. Both physicians care for children from newborn through young adulthood.
